About

My name is Stacy and I live smack in the middle of the country - lovely Lincoln, Nebraska. I was born and raised here and I think it's a pretty awesome place to be (as much as I swear I'm moving to Florida during every cold, harsh winter.)

This is me. Spoiler Alert: I LOVE Disney. (This is me on my first and only trip to WDW in 2012.) Other things I love are: cooking, baking, traveling and reading. | Photo Credit: Nate Mares (He's an awesome photographer.)

I work for an awesome small business - NebraskaBison.com. It's owned by a couple who live on and own their two bison ranches (they spend half their time at the Nebraska ranch and half their time at the Missouri ranch.) I help them sell their bison meat online to customers all over the United States. If you like bison meat - or healthy eating - you should check it out.

Within the past two years, my position has morphed even further into agri-tourism with their second ranch in Southern Missouri where they are able to offer hunting, tours and cabin rental experiences.

The cool thing about my job is that I was here from the beginning and involved in every step of the process of NebraskaBison.com - from branding & design to development to now. I'm a one-woman marketing department. I do everything from website design and development, to marketing and digital media strategy, to social media, content creation and customer service. My job responsibilities are always growing and seemingly endless. But that's OK with me! Luckily, I like to learn and I spend a lot of time reading articles and various blogs on these subjects, so that I can stay on top of what's new, what's happening and what's coming out. (If you'd like to see some of these articles - I post the ones I really like or find useful on a Pinterest board. Go ahead and give it a follow.)

It is my hope to use this blog to share my experience and knowledge to help other small business owners or employees with their own marketing issues and concerns by providing you with ideas, tips, insights, opinions and case studies.

Mostly, I just really enjoy helping achieve their goals. My skills and talents are helping promote / position / market people with actual skills and talents --- and helping them learn how they can self-promote by giving them tools, knowledge, insight and inspiration.

So, come along with me - and never hesitate to ask questions or comment on my posts with your own opinions or questions. I'd love to hear what you think and what issues/concerns/problems/successes your small business is currently facing!
